Our Story
Founded in 2016 by Amrita Bhattacharya, from Kolkata, India, Aamanat’s inception can be traced to the founder’s penchant for designing jewellery, the first of which she did for herself, on the occasion of her school's farewell party. She sourced materials from local street markets, sought help from YouTube tutorials and started making jewellery that she could sell to people, many of whom were already familiar with her flair for design. Within one year of her business going live on Instagram, Amrita was joined by her sister in the operations. With almost 9 years of being the thrift choice for many, Aamanat has served customers all across the country, and has even shipped products to the US & Australia. The main motto of the company remains to convert moments into memories, through little things that make a big difference.

My journey began in my formative years, when I would spend hours creating little pieces—playful, imperfect, and full of soul. That childlike joy of making never left me; it only grew into a passion for designing jewellery that feels modern yet timeless, personal yet effortlessly wearable.
Self-taught and endlessly curious, I source most of my materials locally, letting every piece carry a story rooted in authenticity. Designing, for me, is more than craft—it’s an exploration of detail, emotion, and expression. Each creation is a reflection of who I am: thoughtful, whimsical, and made with love to be worn, lived in, and celebrated every day.
